Aaron Tilley
SENIOR DEVELOPERFULL-STACK ENGINEERMENTOR

I make the people around me better.

I also write full-stack software the next developer will thank me for.

I'm a senior developer, and I spent three years leading a team before that. The part of the job I care about most is the people. I like pairing with someone until they're unstuck, calling out their wins, and trusting them with the hard stuff so they grow. Good code matters, but good teams are what make it happen, and I want to be the teammate who makes everyone's day a little easier.

My Journey

My interest in coding started back in high school, writing simple programs in BASIC.

These days I split my time between building full-stack apps and helping the developers around me grow. Right now I'm learning how to use AI tools well in everyday development: where they speed things up, where they improve the code, and where they don't.

Beyond the Code

When I'm not playing with code or AI, you can usually find me:

  • At the Table: Playing complex strategy board games or PC games.
  • Outside: Fly fishing, playing pickleball, hiking, or golfing, where I usually see every corner of the course.
  • Unwinding: Watching a movie, reading, cooking and smoking food, collecting minerals and fossils, or finding a good dinner out.
